 anthony james meijer, born on october 11th, 1980 in vista, california, was raised primarily by his grandparents. his mother was the head of the business department at california state university, san marcos while his father worked in computer maintenance in oceanside, california. since neither parent could be as present in tony's life as they would have liked, they spoiled him with whatever he wanted. he was amazed by the pieces of shiny computer parts his father would send him from his warehouse, while his mother indulged his video game and science fiction desires by buying him whatever star wars merchandise and game console he wanted. tony spent a lot of his childhood without friends, finding the company he kept with his siblings and cousins more worthy of his time than being stuffed into lockers and shoved around by the junior high/high school bullies. he was the epitome of a nerd in his teenage years, and he's done very little to change that since then. sure, he's grown into his looks, isn't quite as lanky as he used to be, and learned to subdue the urge to go on for hours (which he can) about the star wars franchise to anyone willing to listen, but don't let that fool you; tony is just as as big a dweeb as he was at seventeen, only now sans the taped up frames and awkward acne. |
